Top Games You Can Play on Steam for FREE!

Top Games on Steam for FREE!

1. Soul Worker

Soul Worker is a Korean anime-style free-to-play MMO with an English patch released on Steam in February of 2018. You can choose between 6 different characters. Each has its own class, skills, looks, and personalities. When you create your character, each one's opening cutscene is different as each character has their own unique backstory.

Reviews on Steam seemed to be mixed as the new update with Gameforge seems to make loyal players upset. "This is —no doubt— one of the games I have enjoyed the most since a long time... sadly, I am unable to recommend it anymore, at least when it comes to the Gameforge version. Almost from the start (NA server) the economy of the game got broken, inflation made it hard for new players, but if you worked hard you could still make it." Says, Ama-nee. Others complain that their purchases have not shown up in inventory.

But other than that, this game has good graphics, voice acting, and cutscene animations. It's almost like watching RWBY on Netflix all over again. Your character is in this other dimension said to be set in an apocalyptic world. And you, their hero, must save this world from spawning monsters and bad guys with your cool weapon. Sound cool enough? Fantastic, next game!

2. Six Days of Snow

This game is a visual graphic novel set in Japan. You play as a girl who is the daughter of an innkeeper. One day, a once-famous poet/writer comes into the inn and falls in love with the daughter of the innkeeper. This story has beautiful graphics, characters, and writing. Set in the Japanese mountains, you will be surrounded by Six Days of Snow.

  •      Helena says, "A free and above average visual novel with great art and story. It’s a kinetic novel (there are no choices, you only read) and a good addition to your game library if you enjoy VNs. I really enjoyed the fact that Six Days of Snow has a more mature storyline than a lot of visual novels on Steam."
The visual novel has a lot of positive reviews but a lot of biased opinions on the word "pedophilia" are in the comments as well. This novel is set in a time in Japan when older men were allowed to marry younger women. But this still bothers some people while reading the story. It has 35,000 words (update from the creator) and good background music which you can buy as an add-on to listen by itself (optional).

3. Missed Messages

This is a choice-based visual novel with a hint of horror, a sprinkle of memes, and a scoop of romance. It's a relatively short playthrough with 4 endings, each walkthrough of the game lasting 15-35 minutes long. But let's talk about this artwork though. The visual content of the game is as outstanding as Six Days of Snow.
  •      Mel says, "It is a very short game with a simple, yet wholesome storyline. The visuals were beautiful and the music fits the atmosphere of the game well. I believe this is something everyone should at least give a try since it's free and short."
Warning! Before playing the game, there may be suicide triggers. Please make sure you're mentally prepared to play this game. Viewer discretion is advised for minor adults.
