God of War (PS4) - Atreus Arrows and How They Function

God of War: Atreus Arrow List

How They Work/How to Get Them

     1. Regular Arrows

These arrows are automatically with Atreus once you start the game. Just go through all of the tutorials and you can use the following controls. Atreus's arrows do come in handy so make sure you power them up in the skills section of your menu.

     2. Light Arrows

Light Arrows are achievable once you grab the light of elves in Alfheim. Atreus will be angry with Kratos for leaving him alone for so long. When really, only short moments pass by for Kratos. Then, Kratos will ask for Atreus's bow, using the light to give you light arrows. Now you can go back to other areas where you've seen blue crystals similar to Alfheim. Then have Atreus shoot them, giving you more areas to explore.

     3. Shock Arrows

Once you bypass the black breath by using the light of Alfheim, you'll need to go back to the mountain where the dwarf's lift stands. Because the roots are gone, you don't have to climb all the way back up the mountain. You can just use the lift to carry Kratos and Atreus up the steep climb (awesome, right?). Once you get to the top, there should be a dungeon you enter with a deer statue in the far back of one of the rooms. In front of Kratos, there are two crystal holders with one crystal missing. Walk towards the gate to your left and open it. There should be a crystal above your head you can use the axe to knock down.

Get ready, because you're going to fight a dragon in order to get these arrows. This dragon shoots a string of lightning out at you and that's where the spark comes from. After saving Sindri from this dragon, he's going to ask Kratos to retrieve a tooth from the dragon's head. After using the axe to cut the tooth off, Sindri will ask Kratos to run it along Atreus's bow. This will give you shock arrows

To switch between arrows use the top button on your d-pad (directional control pad).
