Final Fantasy MULTIPLAYER: Comrades - How to Obtain kW

How to Obtain More Power

Tips for Obtaining more kW in the Beginning!

Final Fantasy XV's Multiplayer Comrades is a very intense MMORPG. With its high powered enemies and even higher leveled bosses, it can be the type of game you'll need a lot of tolerance for. But I've been playing through the game and learned a few things from playing it so far.

My character is only a level 10 at the moment (my highest leveled character) and I've been struggling with obtaining high amounts of kW without dying or aborting missions. But hey, what's a little patience going to do? So I've come up with a list of strategies to assure victory in these battles and obtaining enough kW to power up Lucis.

  1. Always check the enemy stats before forgoing each mission.
-     It can be difficult if you don't know what you're fighting and you need the proper weapons with spell casts before going on a quest.

      2. Make sure you have multiple weapons with different stats for each mission.

      -     When you gather materials, they give your weapons a stat boost whether it's resistances, defense, or strength. Either way, make sure you pay attention to what you're leveling up your equipment with. Because once it's fully leveled up, you can't enhance it anymore.

      3. Pay attention to the end results of each mission. Take mental or physical note of EXP, kW, and item drops.

      -     Paying attention to these things is VERY IMPORTANT. If you want to farm for EXP, you need to pay attention to the EXP drops in each mission. The more EXP, the better but you have to be able to beat the enemies on that quest. So you'll need to follow through with tip number one.

I find that the quest I end up repeating is the "Urgent: The Calamitous Karlabos" quest. That quest will give you over 300 EXP and 4,720 kW. This quest doesn't give you a lot of gil but if you've come across the town leader election, choose the guy that gives you more gil during missions you could get more (this includes every mission).

Item Drops:
Rough Shell: +10 HP, +3 vitality, total EXP: 740
Prawn Antennae: +2 magic, +4% ice resistance, total EXP: 480 - Gives you offensive spell: blizzard
Sharp Needlebone: +1 magic, total EXP: 190
Sahagin Scale: +1% ice resistance, +1% bullet resistance, total EXP: 210
Rough Scales: +4 vitality, total EXP: 440 - Gives you barrier saver
Gator Liver: +2% dark resistance, total EXP: 260 - Gives you anti-poison
Hard Scale: +2 strength, +2 vitality, total EXP: 490 - Gives you last chance

For me, this quest really does come in handy. If you want to do some other quests to only gain kW in the beginning, I would unlock "Defense: Hunters' Hideaway", "Hunt: Quadrupedal Plateau", "Hunt: Snakes on a Downed Plane", "Escort: Driving Miss Cindy", and "Escort: New Hope for Old Lestallum". These quests give you between 3,000 to roughly 5,000 kW and you'll get some decent drops from enemies. Trust me, these quests will come in handy when powering up all four cities (main quest). But that's just my experience while playing; if anyone has input, comment below.

Final Fantasy XV MULTIPLAYER: Comrades - Character Customization

How Customization Works

Customize Your FFXV Comrades Character

Final Fantasy XV MULTIPLAYER: Comrades is an MMORPG storyline of FFXV. You can create your own unique character and take on quests that lead to a brand new storyline of FFXV. You get to meet all the good characters from Noctis's storyline like Cid, Iris, Cor, and more! But let's get to the character customization process of the story.

You can have up to 8 (EIGHT) characters which you can customize at the start of the game or later on when you bypass all of the monsters in the beginning. You can have as many male characters or female character as you want as long as the number is 8 (you can't go over that digit). You can also give your character a name and select where they were born.

Selecting the birthplace is important as it affects your magic, power, and max HP gain.

At the start of the game, you will encounter Libertus Ostium (fat dude with a mullet). He will accompany you along with two others in the story (kind of like Ignis, Prompto, and Gladius). Your character has lost all of her/his memories and you have to go through the storyline to get them back. But before that, you need to make your character's facial features and customize your outfit.

Now you don't start off with a lot of clothes. But you can get some accessories and craft equipment later on throughout the game. Plus, at Iris's accessory shop, you can buy new facial features to edit your character later!

How Your Customization is Set Up

Similar to GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5), you have to set up your basic facial features by choosing your hereditary genes. If you want to look more Asian, African, American, or Mexican; they have it all. Though your options are limited, you might be asking, "How do they have it all?" Well, it's simple... You've gotta get crafty. Because not only can you choose the base of your face, you can adjust your eyebrows, eyelids, cheekbones, lips, and jawline. As well as your hairstyle, color, and highlight color too (kind of similar to Fall Out 4).

If you want to customize your character later, visit Dustin Ackers after you meet up with Cor.

How to Save Money for Games

Saving Money for Games

How to Save Money When Buying Games

With video games coming out for Xbox and PlayStation at a pretty fast rate over the course of 2016-2018, a lot of titles have caught the eye of many gamers. But with titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2 (made by Rock Star), which was being sold at Game Stop starting at $99.99, gamers might start to worry about their investment options if the new big thing comes around the corner. So the number one question you should ask yourself is, "How much should I actually invest in this game?" And the answers are quite simple.

When a game as big as Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XV, NieR, Bayonetta, the Last Guardian, Shadow of the Colossus, and the new God of War come out, the price range will be between $59.99 to $69.99. But this depends if you buy the deluxe version of the game. For example, when Kingdom Hearts 3 was released on January 31st, 2019, the deluxe package for the game cost about $10.00 extra than the original PS4 or Xbox disc.

It might seem like you're spending a lot of money for just one game. And the deluxe copies of the game will be sold out quickly (just as quickly as Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice). So how are you supposed to save enough money in order to buy the game and just enjoy it? Without the need to fork over a huge chunk of your paycheck to possibly get that season pass? It's simple by listening and repeating these words to yourself when you consider buying a new game. The same goes for gaming systems.

"It is worth the wait!"

A lot of games within a few months of being released will go down in stores. One big store you should always keep your eyes on is Game Stop. When a game is just released, depending on the popularity and fandom for that game, it could sell out quickly. But why panic? Buying games online can be risky. And spending $60+ TAX isn't always an option for everyone. But waiting to buy a game is always worth it, trust me.

I always tend to wait about a year or six months after the game's release date when I want to save money. And if the game is used, the price goes down a little faster than the newly released copies. Game Stop also makes most of their profit by selling used systems and games, so by waiting and buying them used, you would be supporting your local game store which is a plus.

The DLC for the game will also go down at some point in the PlayStation Store or your Xbox Play Store. So if you want all of that sweet season pass gear, it will be cheaper to buy it later as DLC than to buy it all in one package.
